NPC ELECTRIC transformers utilize high-quality grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a fully inclined, non-perforated binding structure. The core is designed in a multi-step configuration with three or five joints, ensuring low no-load loss and minimal noise. For wound cores, specialized equipment is used to form seamless, joint-free structures, reducing magnetic resistance and further minimizing core loss.
For enhanced efficiency, NPC ELECTRIC offers amorphous alloy cores, which significantly reduce no-load loss by 72% and no-load current by 50% compared to traditional silicon steel cores.
The transformer coils are made of high-quality QQ enameled round copper wire or oxygen-free copper flat wire, ensuring excellent electrical and mechanical strength as well as superior heat dissipation. The coil designs include cylindrical, continuous, advanced spiral, and split structures to meet different performance requirements.
To enhance short-circuit resistance, NPC ELECTRIC utilizes self-bonding transposed conductors. These conductors are made of self-bonding enameled flat wires that adhere to each other when heated, forming a rigid coil structure capable of withstanding high bending stress. The use of transposed conductors also significantly reduces transformer losses by minimizing eddy current and circulating current losses. Additionally, improved temperature distribution lowers the hot-spot temperature, ensuring better overall thermal performance.
The transformer tank is constructed from high-quality welded steel plates and is available in elliptical or rectangular designs. The cooling elements include fin-type radiators, expansion radiators, or corrugated tanks. Each tank undergoes rigorous sealing tests at the factory to ensure reliability.
To enhance durability and aesthetics, the internal and external surfaces of the tank undergo acid pickling and phosphating treatments before being coated with a three-layer primer and a topcoat, providing excellent corrosion resistance and an appealing finish.
